Claude Chalk is a Certified Personal Trainer with over five years of experience in personal fitness training and athletic sports specific training. Claude has a degree in Psychology from Slippery Rock University with an emphasis in motivation and confidence building. He is a very informative and knowledgeable trainer that understands that fitness is more than physical, it is a total mind, body, and spirit experience. Claude lives to bring a different dynamic to his clients when he is training them. Claude's charismatic and confident personality allows his clients to feel totally comfortable when focusing on achieving their fitness goals. Claude is not the traditional fitness trainer, he was not a fitness enthusiast or fit and active his entire life. He was once 295 lbs and suffered from depression, sleep apnea and high blood pressure, so he understands naturally, the rigors and struggles on the journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. Claude's particular style of fitness is functional training. This involves performing exercises that utilize natural movements that you would use in everyday life. Some of Claude's favorite pieces of equipment he uses to train with are free weights, resistance bands, kettle bells and medicine balls, just to name a few.
